IO Interfaces

An IO Interface in Dashboards contains data points of IO Outputs and IO Inputs.

...

An IO Interface can have an associated subsystem.

Associated Subsystem

In the case of IO Interfaces, creating the first connection between two data points (one interface and one from a subsystem) associates the interface with said subsystem.

Not all data points can be connected together.Once a IO Interface has an associated subsystem, data points from that IO Interface can only connect to data points from that subsystem. To create a connection, see 5. Connecting Data Points

Exception: Some IO Interfaces allow multiple connections, such as the OPAL-RT Board

The Associated Subsystem can also be viewed in the data point picker.
