The Load Management Control block is responsible for regulating the flow of the load (active power) through the Point of Common Coupling (PCC), when the microgrid is connected to an external AC-grid, by allowing the user to adjust the active power settings.

Mask and Parameters

The Load Management Controller block contains the following configuration mask:

Name

Unit

Description

Sampling time

s

Time step for the simulation

Diesel minimum power

pu

Minimum values for Diesel generation

Diesel maximum power

pu

Maximum values for Diesel generation

BESS maximum power

pu

Maximum values available for BESS

Load shedding maximum reduction

pu

Maximum values of Load shedding reduction

Inputs, Outputs and Signals Available for Monitoring

Lshed_Pref_inSheddable load P ref

pu

User-defined power reference for sheddable load

Load_red_Pref_inExcess load P ref

pu

Excess load within the Microgrid (greater than 0 means load must be reduced)

LDR_Pref_inDemand Response load P ref
