I/O Module Slots

Up to 2 I/O modules (or IO boards) can be installed in one of the two slot locations of an OP4810-IO or OP4815-IO FPGA Processor and I/O Expansion unit.

Module models are identified OP48Hxx, where “xx” is a number.

SLOT x can be SLOT 1 or SLOT 2
Each I/O modules provides four (4) DB37 connectors numbered P1 to P4. Each port is labeled with the type of IO:
Digital input (Din)
Digital output (Dout)
Analog input (Ain)
Analog output (Aout)
The pin assignments for each channel depend on the type of module. They are described in the System Description Document delivered with the unit.
