Open the Data Manager.
Right-click on the Project -> “Import”.
Select “

Optionally select a new destination path via “New Path” in your Data Manager:
As this Export Definition is equal for all projects, it can be imported outside of your PowerFactory project.
Click “OK” to import the export definition
Afterwards a new folder should appear in the project structure
2. Pack External References into the Project
Deactivate the project in the Data Manager.
Do a right-click on the project in the Data Manager, an select → External References → Pack External References.
Use the default options and click on OK:
All project external references are now internalized into the project hierarchy:
3. Export of Model
Activate the project in the Data Manager.
Open project in PowerFactory main window.
Run a positive sequence AC Load Flow.
...
Select “File” -> “Export” -> “DGS Format...”
Configure the following settings in the DGS-Export dialog:
General tab:
DGS Version: V7.00
Format: XML File
Encoding: UTF-8 (with BOM) (not an option in PowerFactory 2019)
File Name: as you wish (e.g. Your Model.xml)
Variable Sets: OPAL-RT UDB Export Definition (from step 1) (only in 2019 version)
Selection tab (not an option in PowerFactory 2019):
Variable Sets: OPAL-RT UDB Export Definition (from step 1) (only in 2021 and higher versions)
Base Selection: All elements of the active project
Start export by clicking on “Execute”.

4. ePHASORSIM Solver Configuration
To use the generated XML file, PowerFactory must be selected from Input file format in the Network data tab of the Solver mask.Set the following settings in the ePHASORSIM Solver Mask
Network data tab:
Input file format: “PowerFactory”
PowerFactory → DGS file (XML Format): The exported XML file from PowerFactory
Optionally set the “Import Switches” checkbox
