This procedure is ONLY VALID for OP4510 V2.x RT-LAB-RCP/HIL systems with operating system Red Hat Linux 5. Once upgraded, the OP4510 will be considered OP4510 V2.2.

The upgrade can be ordered by contacting your localsales representative.

This procedure includes backing up important system settings and files before migration, but no personal files will be backed up. All system settings and files will be copied to the new OPAL-RTLinux OS installation.

Take note that the migration process will delete permanently all data existing content on the internal SSD (Solid-State Drive). Make sure to copy all personal files before launching the migration procedure.

The term system, unit, simulator, real-time simulator or target all refer to the OP410 v2.x hardware, and its operating system (OS).

The term, computer and PC refer to a remote Microsoft Windows Computer on the same network as the system.
