The RMS 3-ph component calculates the Root Mean Square (RMS) values for three input signals (Phase 1, Phase 2, and Phase 3) over a running window of one cycle of the specified fundamental frequency. It provides both the individual RMS values for each phase and their average.

Name

Description

Unit

Fundamental frequency, Hz

The base frequency used for computing the Root Mean Square (RMS) values over a running window equivalent to the period of this frequency. This parameter remains constant throughout the simulation and applies uniformly to all three input signals.

Hz

Initial output value

The starting value of the output signal across all three RMS outputs, unalterable throughout the simulation.

Input/Output Signals

Name

Description

In

Input bundle signal comprising three control signals: Phase 1, Phase 2, and Phase 3

Out

Output bundle signal comprising the Root Mean Square (RMS) of the three input signals, along with their average RMS value.
