PSIM uses a strong algorithm dedicated to electrical circuits (piecewise method, generic models and a fixed time-step). It can be used by the Add-On only as a circuit description environment. The PSIM simulation engine can also be used to validate the results of the simulation in a offline mode.
The circuit must be designed using a special subset of blocks found in the PSIM libraries. The following blocks are supported:
