This I/O Interface is only compatible with an Opal-RTLinux 3 platform.
The EXata CPS Configurator is an I/O interface used exclusively for linking network interface cards to EXata. Therefore, it does not have a timing impact in the real-time simulation. Since EXata CPS 1.1, it is mandatory to link a network interface card to EXata for license verification.
Also, linking it to a network interface enables to reach an external device on the network (hardware-in-the-loop capability).
For more information on how to use EXata with HYPERSIM, please refer to the section EXata CPS.
Communications protocols can be configured in the I/O Interface Configuration tool that can be opened from HYPERSIM Ribbon Options.
For more information on the general use of the I/O Interface Configuration, see also I/O Interfaces.
