To simulate a model in real-time, a real-time target must be added to the workspace. Follow the steps below to add a target to the RT-LAB workspace.
- Right-click the Targets heading and select New>New Target.
- Enter a name for the target and enter the IP address of the target.
- (Optional) Click the Ping button to ping the target and validate that it can be discovered on the network.
- Click Finish. The target is now added to the RT-LAB workspace.
Important: In order to know whether the target has a 666MHz or a 1GHz processor, open the diagnostic tab.
The information is displayed in the CPU speed (MHz) field.
