Description
This block allows to compute the Foster Thermal Model representing heat transfer through a semiconductor module. It receives losses in watt from the thermal loss feature of eFPGASIM.
Parameters for the Foster network should be given from the outer case of the component to the inner juction of the component.
Mask Parameters
Foster Network parameter Resistances vector: Use this parameter to set the different thermal resistance. The vector values should be given from the outter case to the junction of the component.
Foster Network parameter Time Constant Vector: Use this parameter to set the different thermal inertia. The vector values should be given from the outter case to the inner junction of the component.
Initial temperature: Use this parameter to set an initial temperature at the inner junction of the component.
Sampling time: This parameter should be set at the same sampling time than the CPU simulation.
Inputs
Losses: This input should be connected to the eHS Looses outputs available when using the thermal losses feature.
Ambient Temperature: This input should be connected to a constant giving the ambient temperature of the simulated converter.
Outputs
Temperature layers: This output the temperature of the different layer of the component. The different temperatures are given from the outter case to the inner junction of the component.
