Connecting Components

There are two distinct ways to make connections, depending on whether they are going from i) port to signal, ii) from signal to port, or from signal to signal.

To make a connection from component port to port:

• Click and drag to draw the connection.
  
• Note that the cursor turns into a hand icon when you hover over the port.
  

To make a connection from signal to port (an intersection): 

• Hover your mouse over a signal, press CTRL+ click and drag to create a new sub-segment, releasing the mouse button when the connection is made.

To make a connection from signal to another signal (an intersection): 

• Hover your mouse over a signal, press CTRL+ click and drag to create a new sub-segment, releasing the mouse button when the connection is made.
