eHS OP4200 Adding a Target to the Workspace

To simulate a model in real-time, a real-time target must be added to the workspace. Follow the steps below to add a target to the RT-LAB workspace.

Right-click the Targets heading and select New>New Target.
Enter a name for the target and enter the IP address of the target.
(Optional) Click the Ping button to ping the target and validate that it can be discovered on the network.
Click Finish. The target is now added to the RT-LAB workspace.

Important: In order to know whether the target has a 666MHz or a 1GHz processor, open the diagnostic tab.

The information is displayed in the CPU speed (MHz) field.
