Page Contents

All screenshots are provided for illustration purposes only. File names maybe different and menus may differ slightly depending on the software version.

Your system was fully tested at the factory. However, you can execute the tests to check if all is functioning as expected and get familiar with RT-LAB and your system. This step is optional.

Execute an Example Model

For a simple functional test of your system, you can execute one of the model examples provided as examples.
You can load and execute the example model “HVAC_500kV_6Bus.ecf”. This model does not use the I/Os of your system.
If this model is running as expected, you know that your system basic configuration is correct.

The procedure is explained on this page of the HYPERSIM user documentation Step 6: Opening an Example Model, Loading Sensors and Starting a Simulation .
You can also click the expandable link below to view the procedure without leaving this page.

Execute the Integration Test Models (Loopback Test)

Your system includes custom I/O test models designed to verify the functionality of the simulator's I/O capabilities. These models rely on loopback connections, where signals are generated by the simulator, output through an output card, and then fed back into an input card to confirm proper operation. This process ensures the system can accurately generate, output, measure, and input signals.

The full procedure is explained on this page: Step 3: Using Your Integration Model with IOs
You can also click the expandable link below to view the procedure without leaving this page.

Your integration test models are provided below.
