Description

The mezzanine series OP5367 contains 3 mezzanine types: OP5367-1, OP5367-3 and OP5367-5.

  1. OP5367-1 is a digital output 32 channels card.

All the digital output functionalities (static, PWM, event detector/generator...) are supported with this card.

  2. OP5367-3 is a bi-directional 16 digital input/16 digital output channels card. The channels 0 to15 are input channels with configurable thresholds and the channels 16 to 31 are outputs.

The detection voltages for a rising edge (high threshold) or a falling edge (low threshold) can be configured for the input channels (0-15).

All the digital input and output functionalities (static, PWM, event detector/generator...) are supported with this card.
  3. OP5367-5 is a digital input 32 channels card with configurable thresholds.

The detection voltages for a rising edge (high threshold) or a falling edge (low threshold) can be configured.

All the digital input functionalities (static, PWM, event detector/generator...) are supported with this card.

Usage

Once the bitstream configuration file has been parsed, the location of the digital modules becomes visible to the user. The channels of the modules are grouped into bunches of 8. By clicking on each group of 8, the user has access to the configurable options of the group.

Enable

Checking this box enables the usage of the 8 channels during the simulation.

Clicking Enable also adds the connection points for each of these channels.

In order to output, display, or monitor data, connections must be made between points in the model and the connectable points instantiated from the slot configuration.

To create a connection, the user drags and drops the connectable items onto an appropriate OpOutput or OpInput block in the Configuration panel of the RT-LAB project.

Direction

This field is read-only, only available for OP5367-3 card. It indicates the channel direction.

Threshold Configuration

The threshold is configurable for input channels.

For OP5367-3's first 2 groups of 8 channels and OP5367-5's 4 groups of 8 channels, the low and high thresholds can be configured and are defined as:

  • Threshold low (volt): The voltage level of the falling edge detection. The resolution is 0.2022 V.
  • Threshold high (volt): The voltage level of the rising edge detection. The resolution is 0.2022 V.

The threshold resolution is specified in the slot configuration:

Digital type

The digital type may be read-only or configurable based on the bitstream configuration. Please refer to the desired functionality page for more information.
