The OP7020 is a Virtex7-based processor and expansion unit designed to be used with an OPAL-RT real-time simulator. It can be used for floating-point models and projects requiring large amounts of FPGA resources like MMC simulation models.
The OP7020 must be connected via PCIe to an OPAL-RT simulator. It designed to accommodate up to 16 high-speed fiber optic transceivers (SFP) that can be used to communicate with the device under test, using Aurora-based communication protocols.
Features
- Xilinx VC707 FPGA
- 16 SFP sockets for SFP and SFP+ transceivers with signaling rates up to 5 Gbps
- PCIe x4 connector
- JTAG USB connector
