In the case of an initialization error, all of the generated files will be moved to a folder named ‘[XLS file name].InitError.bak’.

This backup directory will be deleted automatically if the error is corrected.

Some possible causes for a failure during initialization are explained in this section.

Invalid Path or Name for FMU Folder

If the path or the name declared in “FMU component folder” is invalid, the simulation will not start and a diagnostic message will be displayed.

FMU Cannot Be Found

If a specific FMU file cannot be found in the path declared in “FMU Component Folder”, the simulation will not start and a diagnostic message will be displayed.
