MobaXterm is used to securely connect remotely your computer to the target (the OP4510) via SSH protocol.

Download

• On your computer, using an internet browser, go to MobaTek’s MobaXterm website: https://mobaxterm.mobatek.net/

• Click the Download section

• Select the Home Edition version of MobaXterm and click Download now

• Select the Portable edition of MobaXterm Home Edition

• Save the file to a known location on your computer

Install

• On your computer, go to the folder (directory) where you downloaded MobaXterm.

• Extract the content of the zip file, for example MobaXterm_Portable_v23.4.zip (the version number may be different).

• Double-click the extracted executable of MobaXterm, for example MobaXterm_Portable_v23.4.exe (the version number may be different).

• MobaXterm starts.

Configure

1. Click on Session.

2. Click on SSH.

3. Input the target’s IP address in Remote host field.
   Your target IP address may be written on your machine or nearby, in the form of a sequence of four blocks of numbers separated by a dot.
   Each block may have 1, 2 or 3 digits.
   The general scheme is 000.000.000.000.

4. Check Specify username and input root (lower case).

5. Click OK.

  If it’s the first time you use MobaXterm to connect to the target, you may be asked Windows Defender firewall to allow access to the network. Click on Allow the access.

• If it's the first time you use MobaXterm to connect to the target, click “Accept” to connect to the server (your target), because, obviously, you trust it !

• MobaXterm will ask for a password. Input your password or the default passwords. For the default password, see the Quick Start Guide accompanying the USB key.

• If asked to save password, answer Yes, but it doesn’t matter since the OPAL-RTLinux password will be different.

• If asked, you can create a master password for MobaXterm, it’s up to you.

You are now logged in to the target.

If you lose connection to the target at any time for any reason, just press “R” to restart the session as shown on MobaXterm screen.
You can also click on the target IP address in the left pane.
