If you want to run HYPERSIM on the target, HYPERSIM must be installed on your computer first.

Remove the Old Target from HYPERSIM

Under the HYPERSIM tab in the Tools section, click Targets.

The following screen will appear.

  1. Click on Targets in the Target Manager Pane on the left.

  2. In the “Targets” list on the right side, right-click the target’s IP address of the old target under Red Hat Linux OS.

  3. Select Delete.

Add the New Target

Under the HYPERSIM tab in the Tools section, click Targets.

Select Targets in the left pane:

  1. Click the plus sign (“+”) in the top right corner of the Targets pane to add a new target

  2. Enter the primary IP address (eth0/eno1) of your target

  3. Add a comprehensive description so that you may easily recognize your target

  4. When done, click OK

The username and password are required for the first installation, see below for the details.

  • Login user: root

  • Password: For the default password see the Quick Start Guide accompanying the USB key.

Tip

HYPERSIM will install itself on the target.
