For a positive sequence network, a bus voltage magnitude must be defined with values in p.u. unit. In this case, bus represents a connection point for balanced three phase lines, loads and generators in a power system.
...
A bus may be ‘tripped’ by setting a non-zero value on the ‘trip’ input pin. The result is a disconnection of all two-terminal components attached to the bus, isolating the bus from the rest of the network. The effect of tripping a bus remains permanent for the duration of a simulation.
Bus Parameters
Symbol | Description | Unit |
---|---|---|
Bus | Bus name (Bus ID) Bus name per phase for multiphase network (Bus ID) | a unique name |
Base Voltage (V) | Value for base Voltage | Not applicable |
Initial Vmag | Initial value for voltage magnitude of bus (ph-gr RMS) | In positive sequence network: p.u |
Unit (V, pu) | This column is only used when data is imported via UDB. | - |
Angle (deg) | Initial value for voltage angle of bus | Degree |
Type | Bus type | PQ, PV, SLACK |
Available I/O Pins
No | Pin Description | Pin Type | Value/Unit | Instruction |
---|---|---|---|---|
1 | Set/Get trip signal for a bus | I/O | 0: Normal 1: Disconnected | busID/trip |
2 | Get voltage magnitude | O | V or p.u. (RMS) | busID/Vmag |
