Error messages are designed to help the user determine the source of a problem and carry out the necessary actions to resolve it.

Some of these errors come with a code which should be passed on to the support team.

When contacting our Support team, they may need the report generated by the diagnostic tool.

HYPERSIM is not correctly initialize.

This error happens when some processes needed by HYPERSIM were either not started properly or cannot be reached.

Action that could help:

  1. Uninstall HYPERSIM

  2. Reboot the machine

  3. Install HYPERSIM again

If the error persists, contact OPAL-RT support.

092002

Not enough cores available on the target. The model requires X cores (Y cores for the circuit, Z cores for the interface blocks)

The user must use a target with more available cores or delete elements from the model to match the limits of the current target.

092003

Unable to reserve resources for the simulation. Invalid interface block IDs supplied for the reservation

The user must check the integrity of the Interface Blocks, and recreate them if necessary.

092004

Unable to reserve resources for the simulation. Resources reservation failed

The problem requires support intervention. The user must generate a diagnostic report and provide it to OPAL-RT support.

092005

The interface block XXX is incompatible with the target architecture

This error occurs when some interface blocks are not supported by the target architecture. For example, if an interface block is only compatible with Windows 64 bits, trying to run it on a 64 bits Linux target will generate this error.

092006

The user must use a target with more available cores or delete elements from the model to match the limits of the current target.

This error can occur when the architectural constraint between target nodes in a cluster environment and interface blocks is not respected.

010001

The user must delete the interface block and regenerate it in HYPERSIM. If the error persists or happen frequently, the user must generate a diagnostic report and provide it to OPAL-RT support.

The interface block parameter is not compatible with the new value entered. Choose a new compatible value.

150002

The target is not available for simulation. It may be used by another user. (Detailed error: XXXXXXXXX)

This error can happen when:

  1. another user is using the target

  2. another software such as RT-LAB is running a simulation on the target

  3. a previous simulation did not terminate correctly on the target

Restarting the target will normally solve this issue. If the problem persists, contact support and provide the diagnostic report.

Internal error : project was not correctly initialized

Try to restart HYPERSIM. If this does not solve the problem, contact support and provide the diagnostic report.

This error can happen when HYPERSIM was not installed correctly on the target, or when some network ports used by HYPERSIM are blocked on the target side. Contact support and provide the diagnostic report.
