Connecting the Cables and Powering on the Unit

Connect the power cord to the unit and to the appropriate power source (outlet).
Connect the Ethernet cable to the leftmost bottom network port
OPTIONAL: Connect one end of a PCIe cable to the PCIe Host adapter. The other end is connected to another unit, most likely an FPGA processor and I/O expansion unit.
Turn on the main power switch in the back.
