Three additional user interfaces, Model Monitoring.nivsscr, Controller.nivsscr, and IO Monitoring.nivsscr, are included in the VeriStand project to allow for more in-depth interaction with the example model.
Model Monitoring
Open Model Monitoring.nivsscr to access UI controls and indicators mapped to each VeriStand channel used in the example. Manipulating the controls on this page will affect the results of the simulation.
Controller
Open Controller.nivsscr to monitor the input and output signals of the Local Controller model running on the Real Time CPU.
Open IO Monitoring.nivsscr to access UI controls and indicators mapped to the Analog and Digital IO channels of the PXIe-7868R card. This page exists to allow the user to quickly access and test the functionality of the IO channels; it is not connected to the example. Manipulating the controls on this page will not affect the simulation. See the Hardware Configuration Section for more information about controlling the Analog and Digital IO channels. Assigning values to the Analog Output or Digital Output controls on this page will result in voltages being output on the corresponding channels of the PXIe-7868R card.IO Monitoring
