Description

The OP1480 allows users to safely interface with the OP8110 amplifiers. It features:

  • Three interface channels (three-phase and neutral) to interface with OP8110 amplifiers inside the cabinet
  • Locally (Start/Stop button) controllable contactors to dynamically open or close the interfaces
  • Three disconnect switches (padlock compatible) to isolate the external equipment from the test bench
  • All lines are protected with 25A fuses and fuses are replaceable (located on rear panel)
  • A grounding interface located on the rear panel that allows the user to properly reference his setup vs GND in order to meet isolation requirements of the OP8110 amplifiers

DER Disconnect Switches

Use these switches to effectively disconnect (and isolate) the external connections of a channel from the test bench. The disconnect switches can be secured with a padlock if additional safety is desired.

The disconnect switches should not be used to interrupt current. The user should start by opening the circuit using the contactors and then open the disconnect switch.

24V ON LED

This LED indicates that the OP1480 is correctly supplied. When the 24V supply is absent, the LED will be OFF and all contactors will be forced in open position.

Start/Stop Buttons

These buttons allow to control the contactors of the associated interface channel. An indicator light located between the Start and Stop buttons lights up when the contactors associated with the channel are closed.

Fuse Holders

Fuses can be replaced by opening the fuse holders. Note that opening the fuse holder effectively opens the circuit. Also, the neutrals are not fused, they are jumped inside the fuse holders.

Ground Interface

The internal ground interface allows the user to properly reference his setup to the electrical ground in order to meet isolation ratings of the OP8110 in some specific setups.
