Dynamic Load Using SSN Nodal Admittance Method to Provide Higher Stability than SPS

This example shows a dynamic load connected to a 2000 MVA inductive source. The dynamic load is driven at a constant 50 MW, 25 MVars powers.

The improved stability of the SSN Dynamic Load block is due to the use of nodal admittance method. Instead of the current injection of SPS, SSN dynamically computes the required parallel RL to obtain the commanded PQ values. At the solver level, the dynamic load, therefore, appears as an RL, not as a current injection

The SSN Dynamic Load block and its SPS counterpart have similar functionalities.
