Distributed Parameter Line with Variable Fault Location Using SSN Beta

This model simulates a distributed parameter line (DPL) or Bergeron line with losses in which a fault is inserted at a variable location on the line.

The model allows making several faults tests (phase-phase, phase-ground, etc...) with fault located at any place along the line during on-line simulation, WITHOUT any need to recompile the model.

This model superseded the previous DPL line with fault model (non-SSN) in which losses distribution was assumed to be split 50-50 on both side of the fault (even if the fault was located at 20% of one line end). This new model, using the SSN capability of on-line recomputation of nodal admittance matrix, split the line losses exactly on both sides of the fault according to the fault location.
