Device Section

In the System Explorer window configuration tree, expand Targets >> Controller >> Custom Devices >> CMDE Add-On >> Ring to expose the available Device sections. A Device section is automatically added to the configuration tree for each enabled device on the Ring page.

Each device section represents a single emulated cell monitoring device. The emulated devices are arranged into a daisy-chain configuration to form a ring on the FPGA of the Real Time target, as shown in the image below.

The quantity and type of emulated devices available in the ring depend on the chosen Hardware Configuration. Refer to the list of supported Cell Monitoring Devices below for detailed configuration information.
