Calculation of Electrical Parameters

There are two ways to enter electrical parameters in the line model in HYPERSIM®. You can use the Line Generator module to generate the parameters or load a punch (.pun) file that can be generated by the Line Data or Cable Data modules available in the same component library.

Wideband lines and cables also have their own module to generate the necessary fitter data files.

All examples in this chapter are based on the Line Generator module, except FD line examples.
