FPGA-Based Power Electronics Toolbox

New Features

  • Support 3-level NPC in eHS Gen5

  • Support 3-level T-Type in eHS Gen5

  • Support FD Line in the Schematic Editor workflow

  • Support x16 Licence class in the Schematic Editor workflow

  • Improve error management for license checking in S-function driver and support of High Performance licence for eHS Gen4

  • Support new License key EHS_CORE_TOKEN to replace the EHS_TOTAL_PERFORMANCE key. Backward compatible with previous licenses

  • Support new License key EHS_MACHINE_CORE_TOKEN to limit the number of machine in use. Backward compatible with previous licenses

  • Fixed an issue with the Python API when the Excel file name and the third-party file name have a mismatch

  • Fixed islanded buses connected to 'OFF' switches by deleting all non connected Coupler branch content

  • Fixed wrong status of exported switches ElmCoup

  • Added support for MATLAB/Simulink R2023b for RT-LAB and all toolboxes except RT-XSG which depends on Xilinx/AMD Vivado support of MATLAB, now at R2022a.

  • Added support of MATLAB/Simulink R2019b for RT-LAB and FPGA-Based Simulation for Long Term Support.

  • Added protection against a proxy server being used on the host environment to avoid slowing down opening, closing, building, and loading projects in this case.

  • Added the support of FMU with parameters and signals having a coma ',' in their name.

  • Added Orchestra I/O Framework and Client documentation.


  • Improved error handling by adding an interface to display errors, invite users to run a diagnostic, and send the diagnostic to the support web page.

Signal Visualization and Processing


  • Added a new “Shape” widget which allows to create simple shapes such as triangles or rectangles.

  • Added support for vector data points in both table and tree views. Support their connections in the data points picker.

  • Improved he stability of the graph widget while a simulation is running.

  • Improved the data point picker user experience when modifying connections.

  • Improved error messages when adding connections.

  • Improved model state synchronization.

  • Improved the sidebar to make it hidden by default and open automatically when a block is selected.

  • Improved resizing blocks with 8 handles, preserving the x/y ratio only when the shift key is pressed.

  • Improved the auto scale of graphes by excluding hidden signals from the scale computation.

  • Improved consistency by scaling the graph widget with respect to the size of the diagram.

  • Fixed and re-enabled the Onboarding tour.

  • Fixed minor widget rotation bugs.

  • Fixed an issue where Dashboards would randomly freeze after resizing columns.

  • Fixed an issue where the order of graph signal colors was lost after a copy and paste.

  • Fixed where the graph widget would sometimes miss the trigger condition.

  • Fixed an issue about acquisition not working with a specific RT-LAB model's name.

  • Fixed lost connections after renaming in Simulink model.

  • Fixed the graph widget to scale with the Diagram for consistency.

  • Added an option to allow read/write operations on multiple coils and registers even if there are gaps between the address range.

ARTEMiS - CPU-Based Electrical Toolbox

  • Added example model for OP1420 microgrid model, with high-level energy manager.

  • RT-EVENTS: Added support for the local documentation from Matlab blocs.

  • Reorganize the demos repository

    • Kept the official demo models in the demos folder.

    • Moved non-supported demo models to demos/drafts folder.

ePHASORSIM - CPU-Based Phasor-Domain Toolbox

  • Added FMU logger options for logging level and logging filter.

  • Fixed access violation crash when starting ePH simulation.

FPGA-Based Power Electronics Toolbox

eHS Blockset

  • Added support new OP4815 (Versal) platform over Schematic Editor Workflow.

MMC Blockset

  • Added new FPGA firmware supporting 12 SFP cables connected to either plant or control side only.
