Acquisition Group 1

Voltage, current and real-time processing monitoring signals are sampled as soon as the algorithm is started. The sampling frequency is preset to 20,000 per second, which corresponds exactly to one sample per time step (1-time step = 50 microseconds). The display refresh rate is set to 0.1 seconds, as is the monitor display range.

To view or change acquisition parameters, click on the View tab and select Group 1.

The parameters are the following:

Decimation	Sampling frequency by the number of time steps. The default setting is 1.
Frame	Screen refresh rate in seconds or milliseconds. Default setting is 0.1 second.
Buffer size	Monitor display range in the number of samples displayed. The default setting is 2,000.

In order to accurately observe signals, we recommend that you DO NOT change the default values.

Acquisition Group 2

There are more signals in Acquisition Group 2 than Group 1 and they are recorded in numbered files. Click on the GO Acquis button to start acquiring, displaying and recording group 2 signals.

To view or change acquisition parameters, click on the View tab and select Group 2. The sampling frequency is set to 200 per second or one sample per 100-time steps. The display refresh rate is set to 125 milliseconds. The monitor display range is set to 4,000 samples or 20 seconds.

The parameters are the following:

Decimation	Sampling frequency by the number of time steps. The default setting is 100
Frame	Screen refresh rate in seconds or milliseconds. The default setting is 0.125 second
Buffer size	Monitor display range in the number of samples displayed. The default setting is 4,000.

Acquisition Group 3

Digital signals from the actual speed governor. These are status indicators and their signals are not recorded.
