The Open dialog is the Schematic Editor's interface through which models are saved or opened when required.
All models are stored in a local database, installed with the product, where all models related to your Schematic Editor installation are stored.
To open a model from the Open dialog:
- Click File > Open
A list of the available models appears, and the dialog box is labeled Open to the upper left.
The Open dialog interface:
From left to right:
- The Names column displays the names of the models available for opening. Names are set in the Save dialog when saving the model.
- The Version column displays the version of the model available for opening. The version can be augmented by manually changing the version number while saving it.
- The Comments column displays any comments attached to that model. Comments are set when saving a model, along with the name and version.
- The Date Modified column, below, displays the time and date when the model was last modified.
- The two Actions in the right-most column, below, Open the model from the database (the folder), and Delete (the trash can) the model from the database.
