Versioning a Circuit and Adding General Information

To version a circuit:

Either:

A) Click  File > Save (for a model being saved for the first time), and this dialog appears, OR 

B) Click  File > Model Information (for a model already saved), and the following dialog appears.

• The Name can be changed manually, or can be left at the default name 'Untitled', which will increase by one integer for each new model saved.
• The Version number must be changed manually if you wish to do so. Every time you save a copy in order to maintain a previous version as it was, click File > Model Information, and manually increment the Version by one.
• To leave any Notes, from notes to co-workers, to comments for future reference, enter them in the Notes field and click Apply.
• Note that when saved incrementally in versions, all previous versions of the model are saved in the database. This allows users to revert to a previous version in the case of errors or unintended changes.
