Once configured, the C37.118 slave I/O interface offers different data points to be connected with the model.

The following data points can be connected to the model to provide the timestamp and additional information about the state of the synchronization:

Connection point

DirectionDescription
PhasorsFrom model to driver

For a given stream, each configured phasor will provide two connection points that will expect to receive data from the model.
If the stream is configured in polar mode, connections points will be provided for the magnitude and the angle. If the stream is configured in rectangular mode, the connection points will be provided for the real and imaginary parts.
The name of the connection point will contain the stream name, and the configured phasor names.

AnalogsFrom model to driver

For a given stream, each configured analog value will provide a connection point that will expect to receive data from the model.
The name of the connection point will contain the stream name, and the configured analog point name.

DigitalsFrom model to driver

For a given stream, each configured digital value will provide a connection point that will expect to receive data from the model.
The name of the connection point will contain the stream name, and the configured digital point name.

Frequency ROCFrom model to driverFor a given stream, the driver expects to receive the frequency rate of change from the model.
Frequency deviationFrom model to driverFor a given stream, the driver expects to receive the frequency deviation in millihertz from the model.

When Add monitoring on queues is enabled, additional connection points are available:

Connection point

DirectionDescription
Main QueueFrom driver to modelPercentage of usage of the main processing queue of the driver.
PMU QueueFrom driver to modelPercentage of usage of the main processing queue of each stream. This connection is a vector. There is one connection point per configured stream.

When Use external clock is activated, additional connections points are available. These connections points are typically used to receive data from synchronization sources such as the Oregano syn1588 or the Spectracom card, which can be synchronized by GPS, IRIG-B and/or IEEE-1588.

Connection point

DirectionDescription
SynchronizedFrom model to driverBoolean indicating that the external clock is properly synchronized. Only available if Use external clock is enabled in the configuration
EpochFrom model to driverExternal clock time value
NanosecondsFrom model to driverExternal clock nanoseconds value

The sensor editor should be used to retrieve timestamp and status of the Oregano card and use it in the model. Here is an example of sensors connected to a C37.118 slave driver configured with internal clock, queue monitoring activated, one single stream configured in polar mode. The stream has two phasors, two analogs and two digitals values.
