Block

Table of Contents

Description

This block is used to parse the required measurements and source in order to decouple a model using stubline. The left-side/right-side block should be coupled to a corresponding right-side/left-side block.

Mask Parameters

eHS sampling time: This is set to the same sampling time than eHS. In case of multirate simulation, the larger sampling time should be used.

Back and forth latency: This is the required time for a measurement to be sent from the first stubline segment to the second one, and from the second stubline segment back to the first one. This should be calculated experimentaly since it may vary depending of the circuit size, desired sampling time, and if one or two eHS are used.

Component type: This is used to choose if the stubline segment should be an inductor or a capacitor.

Component value: This is component value in SI.

Inputs

The input is used to see the impact of the stubline in the circuit. It does not require to be connected to work in real-time. In real-time, stubline segment input needs to be configured with eHS configure inputs. In offline, the input should be connected to the output of an other stubline segment. The sum of the delay between the two segment should be equal to the value set in the mask.

Outputs

The output is used to see the impact of the stubline in the circuit. It does not require to be connected to work in real-time. In real-time, stubline segment needs to be configured with CPU stubline configuration. In offline, the output should be connected to the input of an other stubline segment. The sum of the delay between the two segment should be equal to the value set in the mask.

Example

Let's take this simple example where two stubline, four stubline segment, are used. The first one is an inductor stubline and the second is a capacitor stubline. Their equivalent circuit are shown above them.

The back and forth latency is 2, and the different mask should be configured accordingly.

The CPU block should be configured like shown below. The list of measurements is obtained fromt the netlist_info.txt generate by eHS. The figure below shows the 4 stubline tab to configure, where Stubline #1 is the leftStubline1, Stubline #2 is the rightStubline1, Stubline #3 is the leftStubline2, and Stubline #4 is the rightStubline2.

Finally, the shuntCurrent from each stubline segment must be assing to the corresponding stubline input.
