The BERTA On-Site Tests application has speed governor and turbine models allowing to make comparisons with actual behavior and do not interact with the control process. Although available, these panels are not accessible by default, because they are reserved for functions that will be validated in a future version.
Speed Governor Tab
This tab opens the Speed Governor Linear Model panel that lets you input linear modeling parameters for the turbine speed governor that can be compared with actual results. This linear model is represented by state equations.
Turbine 1 Tab
This tab opens the Turbine 1 panel allowing you to input modeling parameters for the linear hydraulic turbine that can be compared with actual data.
P.F.: Power factor in p.u. of the signal in MW/MVA of the turbine’s mechanical power on the MVA base of the AC generator power.
Turbine 2 Tab
This tab opens the Turbine 2 panel allowing you to input modeling parameters for the non-linear hydraulic turbine that can be compared with actual data.
The model and parameters are similar to those described in hydraulic turbine tab.
