The Import and Export functions ( File > Import and > Export) are ways that you can share schematic editor models with colleagues over, say, an office or lab network.
To import a model:
- Click File > Import, and the model browser opens.
- Navigate in the left bar to where you'd like to import the model from. This can be your desktop, a network location, or another location.
- The file format extension for these models is .ehs.
To export a model:
- Click File > Export and the Model browser opens.
- The model can be found in the Downloads folder of the computer and will be named to match the name of the model including the version number (i.e BuckConverter - v2.ehs)
Note:
- You may also import and export models by copying a HYPERSIM or RT-LAB model (along with their sub-files and folders).
- When you copy the full HYPERSIM/RT-LAB project, if your model contains a power electronics circuit developed with the Schematic Editor, the circuit will be also copied.
- When a second user opens the model in HYPERSIM or RT-LAB, the model is automatically imported in your local database.
- For more, see the HYPERSIM or RT-LAB manuals, regarding copying folders, files, and projects.
