Importing from External Tools

Two types of external tools are supported: PSIM and PLECS. These models are imported with the same workflow as an internal .ehs file (see also: Importing and Exporting a Circuit)

To import a model:

• Click File > Import, and the model browser opens.
• Navigate in the left bar to where you'd like to import the model from. This can be your desktop, a network location, or another location.
• The file format extension for these models is .xml for PSIM models or .plecs for PLECS models.
• Alternatively, drag and drop directly the .xml or .plecs file in the Schematic Editor canvass
