Description
OpPickering_50_295_Res_Out block | Used to program a chain of variable resistors of one of the PICKERING cards namely 50-295-021-10/8, 50-295-021-5/16 or 50-295-121-6/24. |

50-295-021-10/8 | Single Slot Short PCI relay based switching card providing 10 channels of 8-bits resolution. It is possible to program the desired channel to have one resistance in the range 0-255 Ohms. |
50-295-021-5/16 | Single Slot Short PCI relay based switching card providing 5 channels of 16-bits resolution. It is possible to program the desired channel to have one resistance in the range 0-65K Ohms. |
50-295-121-6/24 | Single Slot Short PCI relay based switching card providing 6 channels of 24-bits resolution. It is possible to program the desired channel to have one resistance in the range 0-16M Ohms. |
Parameters
Channel Number: This parameter specifies the channel number depending on the selected card:
- 1 to 10 for the 50-295-021-10/8.
- 1 to 5 for the 50-295-021-5/16.
- 1 to 6 for the 50-295-121-6/24.
The resistance provided in the input 'Resistance' of the block is set between the two pins of the selected channel.

PCI index: This parameter specifies the PCI index of the Pickering card in use, with the count starting at 0. It is used to differentiate among multiple cards present in one simulator.
Inputs
Resistance: This input is used to set the desired resistance of the channel. The resistance value should be in the range of 0 to the maximum that represents the resistance in Ohms: 255 for the 10/8, 65535 for the 5/16 and 16777215 for the 6/24.
Outputs
Error: This output represents the status of the block.
The following error codes may be returned:
0 | The block completed the resistor programming successfully |
