Block

The OpSnapshot block allows users to take a snapshot when triggered by a specific signal.

Mask

Description

The OpSnapshot block is used to take a snapshot when triggered by a specific signal. This feature allows users to take a snapshot once a certain threshold is reached, which makes it possible to obtain information about a specified part of the real-time simulation. It is also possible to specify the slope (Rising or Falling) on which the threshold is crossed.

Parameters

SlopeSpecifies the derivative on which the threshold level must be crossed for a snapshot to be taken.

  • RISING AND FALLING (DONT_CARE): A snapshot is taken regardless of the slope of the signal defined by the Trig_level input.
  • RISING (SLOPE_UP): A snapshot is taken only if the threshold is crossed on a rising edge.
  • FALLING (SLOPE_DOWN): A snapshot is taken only if the threshold is crossed on a falling edge.
FileName:Not available in the current version. By default, RT-LAB uses the model name with a suffix.
OverwriteIf checked, it overwrites the previous snapshot file if one exist. If not checked, the block adds a different index number at the end of the filename for each snapshot taken.

Inputs

TriggerSignal that triggers a take of a snaphot when a specified level is reached.
Trig_levelSpecifies the value that must be reached by the signal connected to the OpSnapshot input to trig a take of a snaphot.

Outputs

This block has no outputs.
