Block

Table of Contents

Description

This block allows to compute switching and conducting losses of 2-level bridge. It returns the termal losses for the antiparallel diode, and the power switch. It supports a maximum of 30 2-level converter arms.

This module receives its configuration from the CPU, through the eHS block.

Inputs

From_eHS: This input should be connected to the output of eHS.

DataIn: This input should be connected to the DataIn port used to send the device temperature from the CPU.

DataIn_SOF: This input should be connected to the DtatIn SOF port used to send the device temperature from the CPU.

LoadIn: This input should be connected to the loadIn port used to configure the module from the CPU.

LoadIn_SOF: This input should be connected to the loadIn SOF port used to configure the module from the CPU.

Outputs

Thermal_Losses_FLWS: This output is a FLWS signalvector of elements equal to 4 times the number of 2-level arm. The elements are the losses in watts for the first upper diode, followed by the first upper switch, then the first lower diode, and the lower switch. This series repeat has may time has the number of 2-level arm.

Thermal_Losses_DataOut: This output is a the sum of every thermal loss of for each device over 1 CPU step, plus the number of eHS step since the last CPU step. It can be connected directly to the DataOut port, and the average can be computed in the CPU.
