Introduction
The Pulsed Output module (POM) is designed to generate bipolar signals with variable frequency and duty cycle. The 24 channels can be individually configured in digital (open drain) or analog mode, and support several rail and external voltage configurations.
Up to 10 POM cards can be inserted in one OP6200 chassis, although the reference model typically uses a maximum of 2 cards.
The board also has the following capabilities :
- Support for SAE J2716 SENT protocol
The board supports the following features, which are common to all OP6200 I/O boards :
- Over-temperature detection
- Battery voltage compatibility
- Module information
- Activity and status LEDs
- Firmware Update
- Synchronization
- Cable Identification
