Description

This block converts eHS data for SFP transmission by using FIFO. The FIFO will read one whole frame data from eHS then send it when SFP is ready. Pay attention some eHS data frames could be lost due to rate dismatch between eHS and SFP communication.

Inputs

eHS Data: The input should be connected to data signal from eHS outputs.

eHS DataValid: The input should be connected to valid signal from eHS outputs.

eHS LastData: The input should be connected to last signal from eHS outputs.

SFP TxReady: The input should be connected to TX_READY of Generic High Speed Communication Module..

Reset: The input should be used for reseting FIFO.

Outputs

SFP Data: The output should be connected to TX_DATA of Generic High Speed Communication Module.

SFP DataValid: The output should be connected to TX_DATAVALID of Generic High Speed Communication Module.

SFP LastData: The output should be connected to TX_LASTDATA of Generic High Speed Communication Module.

FIFO RE: The output should be used to indicate whether FIFO reading is enabled.

FIFO Full: The output should be used to show whether FIFO is full.
