Model Search
The Search feature in Schematic Editor allows users to quickly browse through the current model they are using. By entering a block name, parameter name or a keyword, pertinent and relative results will be displayed.
The feature is accessible in the top left corner of the diagram work space, and expands when interacted with.
Browsing results:
Once a search term is entered, results will be returned. Scrolling through the list, either with the mouse scroll or using the arrow keys allows the user to look through the results. Clicking on a result will pan the application to the relative block on the canvas and will also open the parameter info in the parameter sidebar on the right hand side.
This feature is also useful for subsystems as the search will display where in the model a block is located.
Displayed above is an example of two different Controlled Voltage Source blocks with the same name. The one above is located in the parent system (named Boost2lvl) and the other located in a subsystem of the parent (named sub2).
Clicking on vsrc1 of sub2 will open said subsystem and focus on the selected block.
Search History:
To view previous searches, click the icon in the search bar. This will open the search history display where a previous search term can be selected again. Search terms are automatically added to the history, which allows the user to easily search terms again.
