OP8662-4/8 System Description
The OP8662 is a high voltage and current monitoring interface designed to be used with a real-time simulator (such as OP5600 or OP5700) to provide supplementary signal conditioning.
It is designed to be used either as a desktop (or shelf top) or installed in a standard 19-inch rack (2 Rack Unit) and uses standard connectors (DB37 and banana jacks) without the need for input/output adaptors, which makes connections for monitoring quick and easy.
The internal input conditioning modules, convert high current and high-voltage signals coming from the external device to ±10V or ± 12V voltage signals compatible with the real-time simulator's inputs.
The rear of the chassis provides the DB37 connector that links the OP8662 to the real-time simulator, while the front provides connectors (banana jack) for connecting client-side applications such as monitoring and measuring devices.
By installing the OP8662 as a link between the unit under test (ECU, motor controller, etc.) and the simulator as illustrated below, you can monitor the voltage and current on specific channels.
Features
- 4 or 8 high-voltage probes and 4 or 8 high current probes
- 4 mm banana jack measurement connectors at the front
- DB37F connector at the rear for connection to the real-time simulator
