OP8662 System Description

The OP8662 is a high voltage and current monitoring interface designed to be used with a real-time simulator (such as OP5600 or OP5700) to provide supplementary signal conditioning.

It is designed to be used either as a desktop (or shelf top) or installed in a standard 19'' rack and uses standard connectors (DB37 and banana jacks) without the need for input/output adaptors which makes connections for monitoring quick and easy

A reduced version of the OP8660 HIL Controller and Data Acquisition Interface, it includes two (2) OP5511 high current and high voltage input conditioning modules, which convert high current and high voltage signals coming from the external device to ±10V voltage signals compatible with the real-time simulator's inputs.

The rear of the chassis provides the DB37 connector that links the OP8662 to the real-time simulator, while the front provides connectors (banana jack) for connecting client-side applications such as monitoring and measuring devices.

Interconnection Box Use Illustration

By installing the OP8662 as a link between the unit under test (ECU, motor controller, etc.) and the simulator, you can monitor the voltage and current on specific channels.

Features

  • 8 high voltage and 8 high current probes
  • 4mm banana jack measurement connectors
  • DB37F connector for connection to the real-time simulator
