OP8217 DB44 to 64 Mini Banana Plug Monitoring Panel

The OP8217 is a 32 or 64 signal interface panel with 2mm diameter mini-banana plugs.  The back-side connector is a DB44 connector which allows interconnection with OPAL-RT SLSC boards and products.  It does not apply any conditioning to the signals.

The two DB44 connectors in the back of the panel map to two signal groups, Group-1 or Group-2.

*Signals can be digital or analog, depending on client interface. Signal names provided for corresponding analog and digital OP8900 SLSC boards.

** Reference GND test-points available everywhere where a GND logo appears on front panel.

Please note that if the Vuser connections are protected with a resettable fuse.  The specifications for this fuse are: trip current = 3.0A, hold current = 1.5A.

Additional Information

The OP8217 has a very high density of IO signals.  Due to this high-density, the sockets on the OP8217 accept standard miniature banana plugs with a 2mm diameter.  Sheathed miniature banana plugs or miniature banana plugs with a pin diameter greater than 2mm will not fit inside the OP8217 sockets.
