OP48H20 DB37F Pin Assignment

Page Content

The following tables provide the general pin assignments for the OP48H20 DB37 connectors.

Detailed pin assignments for all connectors can be found in the System Description document provided with your order.

Before designing cables, OPAL-RT recommends using the guideline Simulator EMC cable recommendations.

Digital Inputs

Din uses connector P1 and are numbered from DIN00 to DIN15.

* 12 V protected supply available to user. 1 A maximum current
Isolated digital ground
User-provided voltage supply for digital outputs. 5-30 V, referenced to GND_DOUT.

If no voltage is provided on pins 18-37, digital outputs will not work. The user can use its own voltage or alternatively feedback 12V_PROT into pins 18-37. This can be done using a loopback card (126-0361) or an external wiring harness. See knowledge base article AA-01025 - How to power the different DB37 boards for digital outputs for more details.

Analog Outputs

Aout on the OP48H20 module uses connector P3 and P4 (partially) and are numbered AOUT00 to AOUT23.

Connector P3 - Aout channels 00 to 15

Connector P4 - Aout channels 16 to 23
