HIL2GO-200 - Import eHS Bitstream Configuration File in Schematic Editor
Page Content
Import eHS Bitstream Configuration File in Schematic Editor
The system delivered has a custom bitstream configuration. Therefore, the custom bitstream configuration file must be imported to the Schematic Editor database in order to use eHS.
The *.ioconf file can be downloaded below.
You only have to import the bitstream configuration file once.
To import the new bitstream configuration file in the Schematic Editor, open Schematic Editor from Windows and follow this procedure: Including a new firmware
Verify if the firmware has been properly imported as explained in the same page.
You are looking for this firmware configuration name : Firmware for kintex7 TE0741_4-EX-0001-3_4_1_816-eHSx128m_Gen4_DBDBD8C322QEIO
You can confirm that this firmware entry is the one corresponding to the HIL2GO-200 system you just imported by moving your mouse pointer to the firmware name appearing in the top right corner when the firmware name is selected in the list.
The file name of the bitstream (*.bin) appearing in the tooltip window is the same as the configuration file you imported (*.ioconf), i.e. TE0741_4-EX-0001-3_4_1_816-eHSx128m_Gen4_DBDBD8C322QEIO-4F-34
Configuring a Setup for a New Simulation Project
To add connections between the model and the analog and digital I/Os of the simulator, a Simulator Setup must be configured when you start a new project.
This setup defines the type of I/O interface a simulator provides, as well as the available hardware resources.
The procedure is explained here : Configuring a Setup for Your Simulation
These are the values you must select:
Simulator: OP4610
eHS license class: It depends on the option you purchased with your bundle. The default is x16
Firmware: Firmware for kintex7 TE0741_4-EX-0001-3_4_1_816-eHSx128m_Gen4_DBDBD8C322QEIO, release 1.8.0 (latest)
