If you continue using the same compatible version of HYPERSIM, skip this step.

HYPERSIM version 2023.1 or later is required to run on OPAL-RTLinux.

If you are upgrading your version of HYPERSIM, on your computer, go to OPAL-RT Download Center at https://www.opal-rt.com/download-center/#hypersimlink

Download HYPERSIM to a known location on your computer.
Double-click the downloaded file opal-hypersim_installer-sa-2023.2.1.o404-win64.exe (version number may be different).

Follow the instructions to install HYPERSIM.
Keep the default root directory (folder) unless you have special requirements.

HYPERSIM is now installed on your Windows computer. HYPERSIM will identify it as localhost.
