Installation Guide: Introduction
What to Expect from this Guide
You can expect to find information on how to install RT-EVENTS, set up a target machine for RT-EVENTS as well as information on licensing options.
About RT-EVENTS
The RT-EVENTS Simulation Method (RT-EVENTS) is a block set that can be used with the Simulink software and that enables the simulation of event-based systems; that is systems comprising continuous- and discrete-time subsystems whose dynamics changes due to discrete events. One of the important features of the RT-EVENTS Blockset is that it works with a fixed step size. It is therefore compatible with the Simulink Coder and RT-LAB.
Intended Audience and Required Skills and Knowledge
The RT-EVENTS Installation Guide is intended for those who will be called upon to install and manage RT-EVENTS.
Organization of Guide
There are several guides offered in the list of RT-EVENTS documentation:
- Installation Guide
- User Guide
