The Workbench
The workbench comprises the visible interface of the Schematic Editor and is the complete environment where everything required to draw a model is found.
- The Menu bar, where users handle common Schematic Editor actions.
- The Library browser, where components are selected from block families or can be searched for by entering text in the search bar.
- The Model browser, where hierarchical relationships are shown between child and parent subsystems.
- The Work area, where models are assembled and manipulated.
- The Parameters sidebar, where object parameters are adjusted.
- The Parameter sets, where users can define sets of parameters to be applied during simulations to change the operating conditions.
- The Deep Panel, where parameters can be further edited and can have IO connections added, edited or removed.
- The Navigation Bar, where navigation is made easy by showing the model's subsystem paths.
- The Simulator Setup, where hardware and firmware for a simulation can be selected and edited.
- The Quick Add, where blocks can be searched from the work area and added quickly.
- The I/O Summary Table where connections can be easily viewed and organized.
- The Firmware Manager where firmware versions and relevant information can be viewed, imported or deleted.
- The Model Search which allows for easy searching of blocks, parameters, links and more within the model and its subsystems.
